  1. Hi sylvain,
Just the information I was looking for. Thanks for the detailed instructions. I haven’t used it yet but I guess the time has come.

Looks like your configuration is fine, there may be issue with your rule.

Please check with below mentioned steps: I am sharing normal way to populate members in Entitlement.

    1. After Discovering schema, define required attribute as Managed and Entitlement.

    2. In the File, the value must be present for repected column.

    3. Perform account aggregtaion.

    4. Check Entitlement Catalog for the corresponding application.
Members will populate like below snap:

Let me know if any issue and also share your build map rule that you are using for data population.
Also share which version of IdentityIQ you are using.

By the way do you have any YouTube videos, would love to watch it. I would like to connect you on LinkedIn, great to have experts like you in my connection (In case, if you don’t have any issues).
Please keep providing such valuable information.

But if your requirement says.. value of attribute Action changes from any string value to a specific string value “TER” then trigger the event.. Then you just leave the Previous Value filter empty and New Value filter as “TER”……
And if this doesn’t work you can alternatively use Event type as “rule” and can write your own custom logic to trigger the event.
I have a certification that was sent out in error which is currently active. Checking the settings of the cert I can see staging period was not used. I have read about the method if the certification is pending but I have not seen something that covers this scenario.
    Sailpoint idm training

So what are my options? would deleting the CertificationGroup via debug mode clear it up? or is there no way of canceling/deleting it?

Would appreciate some help with this.

Very useful article, if I run into challenges along the way, I will share them here.
    Thanks a heaps,
    Ajeeth

  3. Hi Sylvain,

Thanks for the post. Very good details. Worked like a charm. Good directions.

Just to add I have found using the delete certification command would do the trick and you would then also need to delete its associated certification group. However the delete certification commandsailpoint idm training will not work when there are two certifications that have the same name. I have since tested in our development environment that this can all be done via the debug mode however when I attempt to make the change in our production environment and select the certification to delete it pauses for close to a minute then throws up “The system had encountered a serious error while processing your request. Please see your system administrator.” error message.
I have restarted the tomcat service and tried again to no avail. Has anyone experienced this behaviour?

Anyways great write up, your efforts are much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Abhiram
