  1. Hi Sylvain,

    I am working on DSEE6.3 migration to OUD11.1.2.3. I setup the replication gateway between DSEE6.3 and OUD11.1.2.3 and everything was working fine till morning. In morning we had exported ldif file from the production server and imported into DSEE and OUD.

    After that replication got break and nothing is working. I restarted everthing but same luck. So I reconfigured the replication gateway but still it is not working. could you please suggest me how can I proceed further.

    Below is the scenario which I was trying to achieve.

    Setup replication gateway between DSEE and OUD and do export from DSEE and import into OUD.
    But in between there will be some of the entry get miss when we do export and import into OUD. For the missing entry we want to do one more export and import into OUD.

    1. Hi Dori,

      The replication gateway is stateless I mean it does not store any replication state and systematically contact both sides to figure out what changes need to be passed back and forth so I fear some reimport might be required. I no longer work for Oracle, so I would encourage you to contact Oracle support to get guidance.

    Hi Sylvain,

    do you have any product comparison matrix on leading directory products in market like OUD , OpenDJ , ForgeRock and RadiantLogic?
    We’re planning to migrate our existing DSEE environment and we need virtual capabilities like OVD. Please suggest.

      1. Hi Venkat,
        I no longer work in the LDAP directory space so I don’t have any up-to-date directory product comparison but generally speaking I would say most vendors do not invest heavily in LDAP anymore as it is mostly an on-premises only protocol.
